PDF AutoSave

Note for Inventor 2017-2023 users for enabling add-in!

PDF AutoSave saves the copy of the Inventor drawing automatically to PDF during Save command. The file is saved in the same folder than original drawing with the same file name.

Note! PDF AutoSave works only when drawing is saved after modification. So it does not make a PDF if drawing has not changed.

There are some options you can adjust:

Start PdfAutoSave Options under Tools tab, CodeSystems panel.

Print Range: Current Sheet	Prints only current sheet
Print Range: All Sheets;	Prints all sheets
Print Range: Sheets in Range	Enter the start and end page number
Print Range: Print Excluded Sheets	When selected prints also pages which are marked excluded in Inventor
Settings: All Colors as Black	When selected prints all geometry as black
Settings: Remove Object Line Weights	When selected removes the line weights
Vector Resolution	Select the print resolution
Product Page	Opens product page in your web browser
Info	Opens a window with workstation information. More information below.
